"Vigo is the town where I was born..."

Para estos momentos de tanta nostalgia o, como se suele decir tanto por estas preciosas tierras, morriña; nada mejor que una canción tan representativa con "mi" ciudad como ésta:

I am wondering along by the shore
Remembering when I was young
There were no strange people rounding me
There was no wasting time at home
There were two young smiling faces at the phone
There were warm holds behind the wall
There were more friends than people known
There was more life that I can mourn

That´s my home
That´s my home
Vigo is the town where I was young

That´s my home
That´s my home
Vigo is the town where I was young

We´ve got a bridge like Brooklyn
We´ve got a green Empire State
We´ve got San Francisco downhills
We´ve got a Central Park with lake
We´ve got sea, we´ve got mountains, rainy and sunny days
We´ve got a lighthouse and a zoo
We´ve got islands at the ocean
We´ve got wild horses in the woods

That´s my home
That´s my home
Vigo is the town where I was young

Vigo´s song, Joe Barnara
